A new book by Denis Pellerin!
Denis Pellerin will be releasing his new book —”L’emp’reur, sa femme, le p’tit prince: the imperial family of France, photography and the stereoscope”— during the international meeting “Un patrimoine encore méconnu: la photographie stéréoscopique” taking place next May in Bordeaux.
According to Pellerin, the book is about the special relationship that existed between Napoleon III, the empress Eugénie, their son and photography, including stereoscopic photography. It is richly illustrated with over 100 stereos and as many other documents, including postcards and cartes-de-visite. It comes with an Owl Lite viewer and it is sold by subscription at the moment.
Denis Pellerin has been a keynote speaker in several editions of the International Conference on Stereo & Immersive Media, as well as an invited author in our Journal.
