New IJSIM issue – Vol. 6
The International Journal on Stereo & Immersive Media (IJSIM) is glad to reveal the cover of its next issue, to be published later this month. This issue will feature seven articles— including two invited papers by the photo historian Lee Fontanella and the optical media researcher Rod Bantjes— concerning topics that go from Media Archeology and Virtual Reality to minstrels representation in stereoscopic photography. This next cover builds on the latter, featuring ‘The White Slave’, an 1861 hand-colored stereoscopic card by Michael Burr, and taking us back to the social fears generated by the abolitionist movements.
IJSIM was recently approved for Scopus, today’s largest peer-reviewed bibliographic reference database.
