Last October, our Congo VR team has visited the Africa Museum archives in Tervuren. This long-awaited visit has allowed us access to the preparatory drawings and paintings that Alfred Bastien made during his visit to Congo in 1911. These images will now be compared to the different sections of the Panorama in order to understand the decisions made by Bastien and the different production phases of the Panorama.
